Meet the Current Cinnstar Retrievers
Our Dog Truck
Our 2004 custom Deerskin chassis mount "Pro16" dog box is all stainless steel including the frame and will not rub off and discolor the coat or corrode like aluminum, or chewed through like fiberglass or wood. The floor of each "hole" (crate compartment) has "Dri-Deck" matting. This semi hard, tough rubber matting keeps the retriever off the metal and allows dirt and water to fall thru. Rugs, blankets and toys/bones are provided for long trips, and conformation bred retrievers. Each compartment has a small stainless steel water bucket.
Features include:
- Four extra large kennel compartments for the larger retrievers. 21" wide, 39" long! Plenty of room for the largest retrievers. Other "holes" are 18" wide.
- Huge 10 inch exhaust fan that removes hot air out of the box, and two smaller directional fans. Fully adjustable lovers. New designed compartment separations with 3/4 inch holes, not bars. A retriever can get their foot stuck or ear bitten by a neighbor using bars. 4 inch foam insulation on the roof, 2 inches on the rear and 1 inch in the floor and front. A breezeway completes a system designed with your dog's comfort in mind.
- Lights in each hole (in a few cases, lights are bright enough to shine from the breezeway to the hole).
- Airing lights.
- 40 gallon pressurized water tank.
- Huge shade awning.
- Four large lower storage cabinets, hanging closet with slide out tray for a small refrigerator, Closet with four drawers, and a rear storage bumper, gives you lots of places to store and organize equipment.
- Ladder to the top of the box gives you a great view of field trials or hunt tests, or securing items on top of the box when necessary.
- Safety latches on every compartment. T handle latches keyed the same. When traveling these are ALWAYS locked and clipped
- Third battery for the dog box electrical systems. Marine deep cycle, isolated from the truck when the ignition is turned off. This prevents the dog box electrical from depleting the truck batteries.
- Also from Deerskin is a dog jump ladder to help dogs in/out of the upper compartments.
The Truck features
- 2002 Ford f350 Super Duty, Crew Cab, Dually, 4x4, with a 7.3L Diesel Engine.
- She is painted Black with Bronze bottom two-tone, tan leather interior with all the bells and whistles.
- This truck can comfortably take a few clients wherever we want to go.
- Due to the added length of the dog box, we had the exhaust pipe modified to move the fumes away from the box.
- Custom leaf springs to stablize the ride coupled with Edelbrock heavy-duty shocks. For human and dog comfort.
